AQUATIC FITNESS

In the last couple of years Water Aerobics and Aquatic Fitness has become an extremely popular way to exercise without "working-out." This type of aerobics allows a person to get the same benefits as regular aerobic workouts, but it has many advantages.  It allows a person to exercise every muscle and every joint in the body all at the same time. Another benefit of water aerobics is that everyone can do it, no matter what their age is. The reason for this is because the water causes your body to be buoyant, thus causing less stress on your joints and muscles. It provides a great deal of resistance in all directions for your muscles to work against. This multi-directional resistance provides an excellent environment for rehabilitation of injured athletes and orthopedic patients. But, more important for those who are over-weight or who have not exercised for a while, this is an easy way to get back and stay in an exercise program. We carry a variety of Lycra and Polyester Aquatic Suits as well as Equipment for all your Aquatic Needs.

The Swim Shop carries the largest selection of summer fashion suits around, and our selection is for everyone. We carry One Piece's, Two Piece Tankini's & Bikini's, Seperates, Sets, and Trunks. Don't forget about the accessories. Summer is the best time to show off your body and your style. In addition to your suit, you will find handbags, cover-ups, beach towels, sunscreen and more!

TEAM SERVICES

For over 35 years The Swim Shop has been working with local swim teams in the four state area. We work with YMCA's, Boy & Girls Clubs, High Schools and Summer Teams. We are also the team dealer for The University of Delaware and Albright College Swim Teams. The Swim Shop is a licenced dealer for Speedo, TYR, Nike Swim, Arena, and Dolfin. We carry suits for every teams budget. You can find both prints and solid suits, which we can custom logo with your team name or team logo. We use sharkskin logos made for use in pool water, and we apply them at our store so you can get your suit the day you need it.
